The good stuff

Man, the multitrack view is a game-changer. I’ve got a riff in one track and a bass line in another, and being able to see both at once makes arranging way less of a headache. The tab editor itself feels natural - adding bends, slides, hammer-ons? Just click and drag. No weird menus. And it supports GP3, GP4, GP5 files, so I can open tabs others have made without losing formatting. One time I imported a 17-page tab from a forum, and it loaded perfectly. If you crash mid-edit, you lose work unless you manually save every few minutes. Annoying, but manageable.

And hey, if you’re not into guitar, this probably won’t do much for you. It’s built for stringed instruments, mainly guitar and bass. No piano roll, no MIDI export beyond basic stuff. If you’re doing orchestral stuff or electronic music, skip it. But if you’re a guitarist, singer-songwriter, or just want to keep tabs on your riffs, it’s solid.
