But the name makes it sound like it’s meant for mobile, which it isn’t. And since it’s from an unknown developer, I wouldn’t trust it on a work network without checking the files first.

Bottom line

If you’re just trying to keep nosy neighbors or family members off your Wi-Fi, this free tool gets the job done. It’s simple, fast, and surprisingly effective. But if you want real network management features, skip it. There are better free options out there, like NetSpot, which is more polished and trustworthy. For casual use? Sure, download it. Just don’t expect magic. And always check what you’re running on your machine.
